Handheld Contact Account Manager

We're seeking a person to join our sales and marketing team as Handheld Contact Account Manager.

The Account Manager will be responsible for fulfilling all responsibilities of the sales cycle, from finding and contacting potential new users, to demonstrating our software products by teleconference and webinar, and managing the sale to completion. This position has the opportunity to work with and build reseller channels.

Responsibilities include prospecting new accounts, handling all inbound lead flow, building pipeline and closing business.

This individual will be responsible for building a sales pipeline, and will be managing their accounts by telephone, email and our CRM through our Kitchener-Waterloo office. The Account Manager will maintain a prospect list consisting of potential users of our software, and will continuously review and update this target list in order to grow our Handheld Contact user base.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years of sales experience (preferably inside sales in the I/T, mobile or software sectors)

Qualifications and Attributes:

• Excellent phone skills
• Excellent computer skills
• Strong command of the English language - written and verbal
• Fluency in a second language is an asset (esp French or Spanish)
• Self-starter with high enthusiasm
• Effective time management skills
• Competitive attitude and driven to succeed
• Good presentation and closing skills
• Good knowledge of and passion and interest in mobile devices - Pocket PC and BlackBerrys an asset
• Familiarity with ACT! or CRM products in general an asset but not required.
• Post secondary education in business or marketing desirable.

 

Experienced .NET Programmer for CRM

Qualifications and Attributes:

• Object Oriented Architecture, Design, Programming
• VB.NET or C#.NET experience - C# is preferred programming language
• ADO.NET, SQL, MS Access, MySQL, XML
• Programming GUI with Visual Studio.NET - Windows Forms & Installer
• QA experience, familiar with Linux, MS Outlook, and NUnit
• Asset - knowledge about CRM applications, experience with ACT and Goldmine
• Asset - knowledge of Microsoft's COM Add-in technology
• Asset - J2SE/Java experience
• Strong Asset - Experience with automated tests and QA

 

Technical / Customer Support Specialist (full/part time)

Provide telephone and e-mail support to end users and I/T professionals for J2X's Handheld Contact (www.handheldcontact.com) product.

Qualifications and Attributes:

• Customer service orientation and aptitude
• Previous experience providing technical/customer service & support an asset
• Organized, able to set priorities, maintain composure under pressure
• Good troubleshooting and problem solving skills
• Good written and verbal communications skills
• Knowledge of ACT!, Blackberrys, wireless networks, Windows and LANS an asset

 

Senior Java Programmer

Designing Java and Web based applications for handheld java devices such as Blackberry, Nokia and other Java enabled devices in a team environment. MUST be able to work independently as well.

Qualifications and Attributes:

• Minimum 3 years experience working as a senior or lead Java developer
• Must be experienced with WML, HTML, Web application design, Tomcat, MySQL, Apache, Linux, CVS, JSP, SERVLETS, J2SE, Applets, Eclipse
• Strong Object Oriented Architecture, Programming, System Design & design
• Strong Assets: J2ME, JMS, direct wireless development experience, User Interface experience
